The winter Olympics activities are upon us and some of our own sporting events that we take part in are showcased in the Olympics. These winter activities are great calorie burners. 1. Curling is a sport played on ice that uses a broom to steer a puck like object called a curling stone towards a goal. Yes, this Olympic sport seems very odd indeed, but if you Google this you will most probably burn more calories laughing than actually doing it. 2. Ski jumping is a great and scary sport. This is something to do if you are into extreme sports. So how does jumping and gliding burn calories?
